Here’s a summary of Lisa’s work and study experience in Valencia. She was doing a four week Erasmus+ internship at TravelEdventures.

“As a student of international business studies, it was important for me to do an internship abroad during the semester holidays. I only had a four-week window, and most companies don’t accept interns for less than three months, so I found TravelEdventure’s programme of a one-month internship and language course in Valencia very tempting! The sun and the beach were also welcome added bonuses!

I particularly liked the Erasmus+ internship in Valencia. The relaxed, friendly support offered by TravelEdventures before and during the internship was excellent, as well as the feedback while I was there. There was a great opportunity to work as part of a team, as well as independently. I was able to work in small groups and take up challenging tasks – all with relatively flexible working hours so I could also explore Valencia.

I was delighted that I had the opportunity of completing an Erasmus+ internship at TravelEdventures in Valencia as I was able to gain insight into the interesting processes of a marketing department at a travel company. I was also able to learn Spanish, on the side. This enabled me to combine work, learning and a holiday in four weeks.”

Also Nicole was doing an Erasmus+ work and study programme in Valencia and shared her experiences with us:

“I will undoubtedly miss my time and my life in Valencia when I get home. My daily routine was always very varied as I had the Spanish course at the language school in the morning and the internship in the afternoon. I gained a lot of experience in marketing, business communication and the tourism industry, especially honing my language skills! On the one hand, my knowledge of English grew thanks to my international friends and work colleagues, whereas on the other hand, my Spanish skills significantly improved through experiencing life in Valencia.”
